Martial arts Reality show
Hong Kong-based actress JuJu Chan and her husband, Antony Szeto, have begun production on a reality show called ‘Fight’n Chance’. Chan recently starred in the action film ‘Jiu-Jitsu,’ alongside Nicholas Cage and Tony Jaa, but has also appeared in the Netflix series, ‘Wu Assassins.’ Szeto brings his background in martial arts stunt coordination (‘Ghost in a Shell’) and directing (‘Wushu’, ‘Fist of the Dragon’). Each episode will take a complete beginner, teach them a striking discipline for four weeks before finally fighting a real opponent to test their skills.

McGregor Rescues Irish Gym From Closure
UFC superstar and former champion, Conor McGregor, rescued an MMA gym from closure at the last minute. SBG Portarlington gym, in Laois, Ireland, announced it’s final class as a direct result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Fellow Irishman McGregor also trains within the SBG family in his hometown of Dublin and decided to support them amidst the crisis. With Conor’s help, the gym will remain open and serving the local community.
Kung Fu Nuns to the rescue
‘Kung Fu Nuns’ deliver Covid-19 relief aid and advice to communities in the Himalayas. The Buddhist nuns, who all train in martial arts, are a new generation of women defying odds and stereotypes with their practice. Sometimes trekking for hours, they deliver food, toiletries, and masks to those hit hardest by the pandemic.
They are given the nickname “Kung Fu nuns” due to the fact that they train in martial arts. …
